Last year, my English teacher asked a simple question: Who are you? My response? I'm a teenage, hard-working student, with a diverse passion of helping others and fashion. His response? No, really, who are you? This question puzzled me and has really stuck with me. Ever since then, it’s felt like for every ounce of something I accomplish, my brain is filled with a pound of questions. To put this in one word- ambiguity.
Quite frankly, I, the author of this blog, am still unsure if what I want to focus on. There's so many things out there in the world that strike my fancy: desserts, clothing, quotes... to name a few. However, what I am positive about is that I want this blog to be unique and interesting. I want it to be meaningful, and I want it to capture my thoughts within the specific moment. I hope that when I look back on this blog in the future, it'll capture my identity and style as a sophomore in high school.
Now trust me, it might take a while, and I'm not saying that it's going to be easy. But isn't that what life is all about; finding yourself? Possibly, I’ll even have an answer for Mr. Morgan to that vague, seemingly simple yet complex question. Hopefully, you guys will navigate with me on this journey throughout the year. So, here's my little bit of this, that, and the other.
